Key Learning Task Outcome

Task overview
This task involves individual, your group and other groups in the classroom combines in completing this assignment. Since your schools is premier ICT schools in your state, the state education department wants you to showcase your multimedia projects as part of the state-wide
“Multimedia Enriching Society Life” program that will end in your school. This task is where you are going to decide to do a multimedia design. The development process will extend to Wikis Task Sheet 3 in completing the multimedia product. By now, you have been exposed to various issues on ICT and Society. Your final task is to create a multimedia presentation that carries the theme of ICT and Society in it. The topics are wide and you are free to decide on the content and approach of the presentation. Some of the suggested topics are listed below:
Recommended:
- Chose any topics in ICT & Society that your group members did in Wikis 1 and expand on the idea to become a multimedia projects

In this final project, you group will design and develop the multimedia product. The duration of final multimedia product is about 5-7 minutes. Thus, decide on the overall aspects of the end products, from the concept idea up to the finish multimedia product according to the length of specified time.
The multimedia production involves 6 phases. Wikis 2 will only involve the first 2 phases. The rest of the other phases will be covered in Wikis 3.

Steps
1. Find another group that you are going to collaborate on the multimedia projects.
2. Choose a topic that both groups going to expand further. It is a good idea to divide the design stages into two interrelated topics but
with a common theme.
3. Follow the link to Wikis 2 assignment in your group in E-Portfolio section.
4. The Phase 1: Analysis Stage involve your group to do two things:
- Create the overall concept map using bubbl.us. Embed your group concept map in your group Wikis 2 Assignment in E-Portfolio section. See sample
- Filling up the Analysis Form. Make a link to what you have edited in the form to your group Wikis 2
5. The next step is for your group to go through Phase 2: Design Stage. This stage requires you to follow the design principle using the
CASPER requirements:
- Design the flow chart for the multimedia projects using gliffy.com. Save your flow chart as .gif and insert back in your group Wikis 2 assignment
- Make the storyboard of your multimedia presentation and the navigation scheme following this link. Scan your storyboard as .gif and insert back in your group Wikis 2 assignment
6. Write a brief group report on the multimedia progress work up till Phase 2. Your report should include a brief timeline and the development of a workable design idea of your multimedia project.
7. As usual, after finishing Wikis 2 project, go to Thinking Thought section and under the discussion tab, put "Wikis 2" as subject and write what you have learn in this wikis 2 project by answering two questions:
- What do like most about this project? and Why?
- What do you dislike or having problem doing this project and Why?
Commentary
In order for you decide on a multimedia topic, go through some of the focus questions:
- How did you select the information to include? (What resources did you use? Why did you leave some information out?)
- How did you decide which media you would use to make your information clear?
- How did the whole team contribute to this project?
- How did you and your team make choices as you built this project?
